The first 10 minutes of your day set the tone for everything else. Most people wake up and immediately serve their phone: Notifications. Emails. Group chats. The internet’s anxiety buffet.

Let’s be real: You roll out of bed, open your phone, and boom! A client email with problems. A co-worker ranting in the group chat. A LinkedIn post from someone announcing their third promotion this week. Before you’ve had a sip of coffee, your brain is in reactive mode. Stress chemicals firing. Mood hijacked. Focus? Gone.

You didn’t wake up, you were activated.

Try this instead: Wake up. Make coffee. Sit. Think. Write. Breathe. Let your thoughts be the first voice you hear. Set your goals before someone sets them for you. It’s not about being a monk. It’s about owning your day before the world rents space in your head.

Coffee first. Phone later. That’s how pros wake up.

The 3 Dragons

Every day I fight 3 dragons! Nothing more, nothing less. These dragons are just the embodiment of the three tasks in my list that, if completed, move my projects forward in a big way. The three tasks that make the most difference in my objectives. A dragon is something that makes a big difference, it is powerful, it's not indifferent.
